The Robinhood NASDAQ:HOOD IPO is playing out and if traders were PATIENT they would have gotten fantastic risk to reward setups with today's price action. I use this an example of how better to play IPOs instead of buying on the first day as many do!

Probably the negative sentiment of COIN IPO release played a factor here, wherein there was bearish expectations after HOOD opened similarly to COIN, the latter hasn't looked up after its' 1st 9 minutes of trade. This gave Hood element of surprise. The option chain opened with more puts than calls...

Excellent work as always, buddy. Everyone went incredibly bearish on HOOD after the IPO. Reminds me a lot of the FB IPO in 2012 back when I was an advisor. Opened at $38, and then hit a low of around $17 and change. All of our clients were freaking out, but we made sure they held through the noise and FUD. Hopefully HOOD stops stealing from their customers on behalf of their market makers/former employers, and then they'll have a real shot long term...

@Hedge_Of_The_World, I use FB as an example when I teach about playing IPOs in other videos. It was a great example of how patience paid off as it did not breach the IPO price for over a year.
