Open Close Cross Alert R6 by JustUncleL

This revision of this indicator is an Open Public release. The indicator alert based on JayRogers "Open Close Cross Strategy R2" and is used in conjunction with the revised "Open Close Cross Strategy R5".

Description:
This indicator alert created for TradingView alarm sub-system (via the alertcondition() function, which currently does not work in a "Strategy" script). Also this indicator plots the Difference Factor between the Close and Open Moving Averages, this gives a good indication of strength of move. Also included in this release is optional Divergence finder with variable width channel.

Release Notes: R6.2 By JustUncleL:
  • Minor updates for Pinescript Version 3 Compliance.
  • Modified Divergence to display only when in correct High/Low zone.
Release Notes: ...Bug Fix

been monitoring the 1 minute chart for a while and taking screenshots. Seems the indicators on where to go long and short change retrospectively so that most of the wrong signals are removed and it shows as being almost always right...

Excellent BTC / USD strategy, profit - risk ratio is just fire.! I ask, if there is time, to prescribe an algorithm for setting the exact test date, for example, from 12/12/2016 to 05/01/2019, it is currently written in bars, which is not convenient. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

@kirillkiselev82, I am aware that the strategy is not aimed at bitcoin, but it unexpectedly works well on it!

@kirillkiselev82, I will consider that option if I do another update, originally the Bar limit was there to prevent the "too many trades" error that occurred when working with lower time frames in particular. Normally I don't recommend using these OCC scripts for trading unless you know how to deal with the repaint issues that occur from time to time.

@JustUncleL, Yes I observed, written on pine 2. strategy redraws and looks into the future.

@kirillkiselev82, Pine 2 does not matter too much as you can still code it without redraw, but then it does not perform as well. This is why I no longer use higher time frame data directly in my scripts and use other techniques.
