Bollinger Band width is hard to follow on log charts, but it's an excellent indicator for volatility. When BBand % width crosses down through periods of low crosses down through periods where RSI is low, you may be able to count on a substantial reversal over the intermediate or long-term.
can you do an eli5 on what is the purple and what is the green? having a hard time with this one

@bokeb, Bollinger Bands % width is green. if BBands are tight then the % width drops. Purple is RSI. I shifted it up 30% so you can see the indicators visually cross.
