DOW SPIKES, BUT TREND CONTINUES DOWNWARD
The markets responded positively to yesterday's long-expected quarter per cent rate hike. However, the downtrend that started last May continues, as money gradually shifts away from Equities to interest-bearing securities. The dollar, already too strong, is boosted, to the detriment of American exporters.
