Yesterday, USD strengthened against all major currencies.

The Retail Sales m/m data released yesterday indicated an unexpected rise in consumer spending amid the ongoing rise in COVID cases.

• Core Retail Sales m/m (Actual: 1.8%, Forecast: -0.1%, Previous: -1.0% revised from -0.4%)
  
• Retail Sales m/m (Actual: 0.7%, Forecast: -0.7%, Previous: -1.8% revised from -1.1%)
  

The Preliminary UoM Consumer Sentiment data (Forecast: 71.9, Previous: 70.3 revised from 70.2) will be released later at 2200 (GMT+8).
