Ripple XRP is a long term hold right now with the second largest market cap behind Bitcoin. Should reach 25 cents by 2016 from its current price of a penny. Long on Ripple short on Bitcoin. Also banks are starting to get on board including FIDOR bank in Germany and now U.S banks are starting to use the Ripple protocol.
