Interest coverage counts as Operating income divided by Interest expense.

Formula:

Operating income / Interest expense

What does Interest coverage mean?

It measures the stock that a company has to pay interest on its debt. It is used to determine how easy it is for a company to pay its interest expense on outstanding debt.
