How to update Desktop app

Usually, TradingView Desktop updates automatically, but sometimes it can't do that for some reason. If you’ve faced that and your app is not up to date, please take the steps described below.

For Mac

1. Go to tradingview.com/desktop and download the app installer;
2. Run the installer, move the app icon to the Applications folder, and choose to replace the existing version;
   
   
3. You’re all set - enjoy!

For Windows

1. Open tradingview.com/desktop in your browser and download the app for Windows (a file named TradingView.msix);
2. Run the app installer file and click Update;
   
   
3. You’re all set. Run the app and enjoy!
