Keysight Technologies: New ATH Rising Above the Breaking Point
Wow, the volume spiked up hard for KEYS today! A solid 12.5% upside is a mirror of the earnings response that TGT made, and they're in a position to capitalize on the growing 5G telecom boom without dealing with the downside exposure of the telecom carriers and operators. This is a picks and shovels play, and I personally have used their line of Ixia BreakingPoint devices for the purposes of quite abusive network equipment testing in my professional day job. Annual and current growth of earnings and revenue is comfortably above a threshold of 20% that I look for in growth stock fundamentals to confirm technicals, and these guys have it.
On the technicals, the stock has absolutely soared to a new all time high today which is a good sign for a young company only a few years on the market. Fundamentals growing, technicals and momentum confirming the huge spike up in volume. No one exists to be shaken out of this, and all but an entire downard market correction on tomorrow's Jackson Hole outcomes is going to dig into the price action here. MACD, relative strength index, average direction index for trend reading, rate of change for momentum, money flow, and relative strength to the S&P 500 show this company screaming out of the gate ready to keep running up. With all technicals the way they are, this is a classic CANSLIM pick for me, and I did get the tip off from IBD news.
